NEEDY PAWS ANIMAL SHELTER
Tuesday - Friday
12:00pm - 5:00pm
Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm
Needy Paws Animal Shelter, an extension of the Humane Society of Johnson County, has been providing sanctuary for sick, injured, homeless and abused animals for over 15 years. The shelter cares for 800-1000 animals annually; this means that there are around 80-100 animals at any given time available for adoption. Our staff members, volunteers and board of directors, in coordination with local veterinarians, work together with the mission of placing healthy, adoptable pets into loving, forever homes. We currently work with PetSmart Charities and New England Rescues to increase the opportunity for adoptions for our shelter animals; if you are an out of state rescue interested in working with us, please contact the shelter - we would love to hear from you! We are able to provide these services for the River Valley\'s homeless pets through community support. Help us spread the word - Adoption is a wonderful option, Spay and Neuter IS the solution! Thank you for helping us care for so many pets in need!
